I want to test standard of PowerQA with below tools.

• Markup Validation Service for HTML mark-up
• CSS Validation Service for CSS
• etc.

This site is always up-to-date. We can check in online. We might be able to pick up small issues in this test.

HTML MARKUP TEST

I just conducted HTML Markup valaidation. using this tool Markup Validation Service

I testetd all pages in the menu of pqa.

Only 2 pages generated an error or warning

2. http://powerqa.org/typo (custom page)

The error was

• Error: Named character reference was not terminated by a semicolon. (Or & should have been escaped as &.)

  At line 824, column 255

  default) &quot <a href="./516

Apart from the above, the script passed markup validation and the pass mark was 99%

 

CSS MARKUP TEST.

There were 30 errors and 188 warnings.

This means the css of pqa will need some optimizations

HTML:
This is not a fatal problem. But, measures might be necessary. Please give me some time.

CSS:
5 errors fixed. The rest is Bootstrap. They are not particular problem.
